It's breakfast time and this diner/bar is walking distance from the AC hotel.
Searched a bit on Google and saw pictures of the chicken fried steak so my mind was made up. I love CFS and this did not disappoint.
Big portion of chicken, hash browns and two eggs over-easy with a side of JJs spicy gravy.
It was on Tuesday morning and there were only 5 other customers so service was fast. I Sat down and was immediately greeted and I ordered right away. Coffee and water came first, quickly, followed within a few short minutes by my delicious breakfast.
I'll be back again tomorrow to try one of the other options.

When you enter the oxford bar and saloon it's what I'd say it would feel like to enter the 50s era of Montana, an old fashioned mahagony bar runs down half of it while the other half is the kitchen, with the casino in back. Food at the oxford is really a " make it your way " kind of scene, upon receiving the " oxford burger " I noticed the meat patty atop the bottom bun and beneath the top bun laid the onion, tomato, pickles and lettuce, the crinkled potato wedges laid around the burger like a feild of corn. After construction of the burger and pressing it down a bit I was ready to eat it, my first bite was a perfect combination of ice cold lettuce and tomato, zesty crispy pickles and a tangy after-taste of onion, truly a delicate treat. The fries were... Interesting, to my knowledge they came unsalted which wasn't too much of a problem as I added some myself. While visiting the oxford I also visited the bar where I was cared for by a wonderful bartender who made some very delicious cocktail drinks. All around the oxford was an amazing and we'll established business that I hope to see around for a very long time!

I have changed my rating from 5 stars to 2. The last couple of times we have been there, the service has been declining. We would get our food, and then the waitress wouldn't return. The drinks are small so we would run out quickly.

The last time we went, we couldn't get service at all. We sat down and the waitress never acknowledged us. After about 10 to 15 minutes of waiting, we finally just left so we could go find food somewhere else.

I gave it 4 stars because they are open 24 hrs a day. With that of course comes a very wide array of customers. Come, sit, enjoy a nice cup of mediocre coffee and enjoy the spectacle, maybe drop some hard earned cash into one of many slot machines at 4:15 in the morning and listen to the echos of fights past and present. Staff were nice, and a bit overwhelmed and the food was all you could expect! Bravo!
