Old video slot machines, crowded. Music was live and pretty good.

Had a decent experience even though the current COVID restrictions result in bar service ending early, and a large amount of machines being disabled.
Only annoying thing to my visit was being unable to even get a pop after last call.

The Great Northern Casino was a lot of fun. It is clean and the staff were all very friendly and nice to us. They also have excellent food. It is well worth the visit if you are in Northern Alberta. By Gregg L. Friedman MD

Come here for the food. Maybe even the live entertainment. Just like a real zoo, do not feed the goblins! They don't ever quit eating your $20s. There's a reason why you see people crying in the parking lot every time you go here. I am not a lucky guy. The only exception would be bringing a beautiful lady with you. They will feed the goblins one 20 dollar bill and win $255 right in front of you. No shame at all. She's a lurker but it paid off this time. The secret might be to lose my money first, then put in your own $20 for the big win. Beautiful and smart. I guess I might be lucky afterall.
