The less popular but not the less interesting historical place in Moscow. You have a great opportunity to watch horse races. The race itself takes nearly 2 min then the ground flattening follows for another 20 min. You can meet elderly people who are fantastically interested in making books as well as make some by yourself. There are three sections A, B and C all of them with perfect view ( C is the highest, allows to see more). The coast for official races may seem high but you can visit test races. Tribunes are open.

Old race track... Facilities very old and run down.... All punters old men ... For betting you need Russian passport... Someone helped me, biut they should allow foreigner to bet and register on the spot...funny to see the races in the snow

Went here to watch the world cup matches. The seats were ready dirty and the stands looks like it's never cleaned.

Interesting place with a special a la old school atmosphere. Overall it's quite cool experience to visit such place almost in the centre of Moscow. Every weekend there are some horse races and trainings on daily basis. Also there are two restaurants inside, so it's even possible to hang out for a while, one has karaoke)
