I booked a suite for my anniversary event for my business and paid thousands of dollars to make the day special for everyone. The event name on the suite was wrong, there was no ice for drinks, not tea or sodas for over an hour into the event. No silverware for 45 minutes after our buffet opened. No mixers for mixed drinks. Ran out of silverware a second time for another 30 mins. They sent the janitor in to vacuum carpets in the middle of the event......the list goes on. At the end of the event they apologized and said they would have a manager call me on Monday to offer us a discount for the poor experience. Monday rolled around, no call. A week later I reached out and the sales agent said she would call me back. It's now been over a month since our event with no call, no response. My original plan was for this to be an annual event but after all of this I will be re evaluating my options next year.

I attended this event yesterday and stayed in a suite. My first impression was not as good as I expected. First of all, Why do you have have the desserts sitting out for people to grab and spit all over? The food should have been covered, and even though tongs were provided to grab the cookies and brownies, There were no utensils provided for the cakes. Don't worry its not like anyone was using them anyway! Purely disgusting people here. The suite rooms were not that nice, very old and outdated furniture, and the only drinks provided were Pepsi, beer, wine, or water. Seriously? Also there were not that many food options. The only reason I give them 2 stars is because I enjoyed the shaded balcony area (which is where I spent most of my time) and the horse race.

They did not handle the Kentucky Derby right .They should not worry so much about each head is money but focus on how to serve the customer with better service. They should have had people walking around with them automated vetting machines instead of having people standing huge lines and stand at a tent they should have people walking around taking their money they have all those machines and they're not using them they just don't know how to handle crowds all they care about is the money per head instead of should have focused on the money that the heads bring in if they would have people that better. It's the same old stuff nothing ever changes there the management sucks the place sucks they don't offer nothing they've gone downhill and they don't care
