Beautiful ship and staff. Kinda weak on the excursions. Better to buy from other vendors. Recently bought out by Carnival. Internet is beyond poor, even for a cruise ship.

I'm a 4 star and have stopped sailing with them. When you refuse to honor the written terms of my reservation I'm done. Thanks to the Washington State AG office the matter was resolved. Shame on them.

We had a wonderful time on Holland America cruise line - would recommend this liner to 40+ age group. The staff were wonderful in all areas of the ship. The photos are somewhat pricey and the black and white photos were outrageous at $450 starting price. Our room had an on and off stale smell of wet cardboard. Our cabin stewards were very friendly, remembered our names, and kept our room clean and orderly. The Lido buffet staff were friendly as well and went out of their way to make your dining experience wonderful. The tables, chairs, and floors were always clean - which isn't an easy task with a full ship. The food was fantastic at every meal and they offered a variety to choose from. The entertainment we attended was good. Smoking is kept to a small area on the 9th level / next to the adult pool area. Casino is small, but worked for us. A little downside was getting off the ship, a little disorganized, but didn't take too long to exit. I would strongly suggest NOT PARKING at the midport parking garage. It took us almost 2 hours to get out of the garage - you had to pay when exiting. I tried calling the number on the parking ticket and they were rude and hung up on me twice. They said a manger was on-site and i should go find her.

We love sailing on HAL ships!
To date we have had the luxury of 29 cruises with them. They never disappoint. The crew is very friendly and courteous! The ships are clean and of course the food is great. This may not be a cruise line for children & young adults, but I am neither even though sometimes I act like a child!😆
I could go on and on and of course they are not perfect, but who or what is? I would definitely recommend HAL!

The suite we booked was very nice. The concierge was not helpful at all, the food in the main dining room was marginal and there was nothing going on in the crow's nest. That area used to be the best for fun entertainment after dinner and make your own bloody mary's on sea days. What happened to this cruise line? The ambiance was way off, and so was most of the crew. Such a travesty.
