Staying at The Grand Lapa was definitely worth our while. I was there with my 6 year old son and we had star treatment from the day we arrived to the day we left. We got free a free upgrade on our room and a really late check out on our last day. I also got some me-time at the spa and gym as the hotel staff took care of my son in the kid's club. The pools are a definite hit with guests, especially since one of them is warm. Similarly , there is a water slide that is really popular with kids. I must mention the gentlemen at the door: Edgar, Mark and Arièl - they made both our welcome and farewell memorable and comfortable. It was especially helpful that they called a taxi for us whenever we needed to leave the hotel. Finally, we were keen to eat at Bella Vista, given all the hype about its place as a historical icon. The ambience was lovely, but the food itself and the slow service was a bit of a let down. Overall, I definitely recommend a stay at the hotel.

I attended my friend wedding in this hotel, foods were served in buffet.
There are variety of food, including sushi, seafood, meat, dessert and more.
The food never run out, they are always resupplied.
Great for party with many guests

Really cool hotel overall. The staff were super friendly. The facilities fit the criteria of a Resort hotel. The double room I stayed at was comfortable and cozy. Not to mention, the view from my room was great.
