I grew up going to the track with my Grandpa, so I've been going for almost 40 years now. The track holds my best memories with him. Opening day, this year, was a bit of a disappointment. Crazy long lines, due to very few human tellers, coupled with them continuously running out of money; left people scrambling to place their bets in time. The "ellis park slaw" is gone, and hot dog buns were stale. Trash cans were overflowing, tons of seats were gone, and no fans circulating air. Definitely not the best visit, and will probably be one of the few, if anymore this year. Still love "feeding" the ponies though.

Everyone that works here is very good at their jobs! They were a smiling face and make sure you're treated well and taking care of, the races were fun to watch

It was fun not that many tellers when it's busy also no seats anymore outside on the track or benches but still nice to get out and watch the horse's run on the track

They've definitely came a long way. They recently added a bunch of new slot machines so sometimes I prefer it over Tropicana if I don't feel like being around a bunch of people. The women that work behind the bar have been nothing but rude and act entitled and better than me every time I try to talk to them so I try to avoid it and only do if I have to..but the people behind the money counter are usually pretty cool.

My fiance and I go and play slots at least once a week!! Staff is very friendly. Restrooms are always clean. High covid-19 precautions. We also love attending the horse races during the summer. Our kids have a great time watching the horses
