This place was awful. The room look nothing like the website. Very, very old everything was unplugged.. I suppose they are remodeling but we got a room that was not remodeled. I was very upset thank goodness we were only there a few hours. We barely got any sleep I was extremely uncomfortable. We checked out around 7. Could not wait to leave. Would not recommend to my worst enemy.... Awful!!!

I've stayed here twice and enjoyed it both times. I came to this town primarily to get a real feel for Costa Rica and to escape the SUPER generic chain resorts. Why travel all the way here to stay somewhere with no character? This hotel covered the bases with a clean place to stay, a pool to cool off, breakfast, and friendly employees. The location can't be beat with the close vicinity to grocery stores, restaurants/bars on the main road, and the beach right down the street.

Highly recommend this hotel! Located on Main Street within walking distance of the beach and everything in Coco. Ruth and her team are hospitable, friendly, accommodating and love our puppy. The Hot Wok restaurant (located at the hotel) has great food and service.

Do not go there! Photos are misleading. The whole place is dirty, moldy and smelly. No pool like advertised. We booked it and then turned around after seeing the room. It was horrible. The owners didn't want to give us the money back.

Well, no happy, rooms are in some disrepair. Staff is friendly enough but locked in the hotel until 800 am doesn't work, having to traipse through a dining room full of people after 800 pm doesn't work because the desk is closed. And the advertised pool is three KM away. I expensive but won't recommend or stay here again.
