Dated interior. Poor wifi speed. Otherwise nice staff and located just across airport.

No menu selection in the quarantine packet.
Foreigners do not like rice three times a day, and cold.
For breakfast they served a 350ml bottle of water, not even coffee or tea.
Only two 350ml bottles of water per day included.
Extra water is charged at 120PHP. ( Outrageous )
I exchanged food for water and had my meals delivered from outside.

We've stayed here for years. There is always outstanding service, transfers, rooms, food and location.
But this year, with COVID19 normally prices everywhere went up and services went down.
But at the Waterfront Airport Hotel and Casino Mactan Cebu PRICES WENT DOWN and services GOT EVEN BETTER.
This hotel and its General Manager and staff represent the highest quality of Philippine hospitality and service.

The place is cozy and comfy but the hotel needs to be refurbished. The gym equipment needs upgrade. Staff are nice and polite. (Pre-pandemic pic)

To start on a positive note, the staff were very kind and helpful. The hotel looks welcoming. The beds were comfortable; good options of television channels and decent WiFi. I tried the traditional Filipino breakfast, which was delightful!! The swimming pool looked nice (swimming isn't allowed presently and only 01 person is allowed in the gym at a time, all due to COVID).
My stay was comfortable but with a few issues:
The rooms are not well maintained (the room was clean but new bathroom fittings are needed) and the floors and doors are creaky .
I enquired about the blackberry cheesecake from Room service, which wasn't available and was offered a cherry cheesecake instead, which I agreed upon; I didn't have any issue with the choice. The cheesecake, when delivered, was rock solid (was offered plastic cutlery due to covid, which is acceptable). I spoke to the staff and they said sorry about it. I waited for 20 mins and yet the cheesecake was quite frozen (there were icicles falling off when I tried cutting through)!!! I ended up requesting for metal cutlery (which was offered initially when I complained over the phone) and even demonstrated the icicles falling off the cheesecake to the gentleman who came to deliver as he was the one who recieved my complaint on the call. So overall, I had dessert but can't call it a cheesecake!!!
