Travel up to Wasaga almost every summer and it never disappoints. Despite covid difficulties, we were surprised at how easily we were able to find parking and how clean the area was on Canada Day weekend. There were a lot of people but the beach is huge and can accommodate people in their own circles. Super grateful the park did not have any reservation or capacity limits like many other places in Ontario right now!

One of the nicest and certainly longest beach in Ontario. Water is warmer than most beaches and quite shallow, great for kids. Quite a few choices of fast food so you don't have to leave the beach for food. Despite being on the biggest beaches, it tends to get pretty crowded especially on weekends. Lots of parking lots around but it's not cheap.

Perfect beach to go to. If you have the yearly parks pass even better. No rocks just smooth sand. The water is fantastic and easy enough to wade out into. For inexperienced swimmers the water is shallow for quite some distance and for the more adept it's good further out. Not manned though so swim at your own peril. Easy enough to get to and washrooms are close by.

First time visiting Wasaga Beach â›±. Maybe it's me but it almost like any other beach in Ontario I been too, I could be wrong? The best part of the beach was the background of the mountains. Plus the water seems more clear compared to lake Ontario. In my opinion I think it's a bit overrated but it's not a bad beach just that it doesn't really stands out to others beaches in Ontario

Very crowded. Few people wearing masks. Little to no social distancing. Parking permit dispenser at main entrance was not working. Was only there to see the piping plover, so did not stay long. At least we got a distant view of one plover and the cordoned off area appears to have been respected.
