I was tremendously disappointed with the outcome of village pub. I had called about 3 o'clock to see if they were serving prime rib on Saturday. They said of course. I asked to put in for a reservation but she had told me that there was no reservation needed. So when I showed up at 5:45. I was in a good mood for a prime rib dinner. Only to be disappointed that they were out. That is the 2nd time I went down there for a prime rib dinner only to be disappointed. Perhaps I will give it another try. But not sure. You are a well established business and there is no Reason for you to be running out of prime rib that early in the evening. Anyways over all the atmosphere was nice and the employs were quite nice as well. I just feel that management could supply better.

Normally we go to the Village Pub often at least a couple times a week and we have since 1996 but I will say the one in desert shores today Saturday right before mother's Day really fell short. Being hearing impaired or deaf the waitress and the manager couldn't have cared less when we told them we could not understand what they were saying they refused to lower their masks even though we are all fully vaccinated. Will sink twice about going there again as the help really does not inspire you to return. Although the food was good it usually is the help leaves a lot to be desired

Although it's a little confining with the plexiglass separations at the bar, always friendly, outgoing people working and quick to fill your drink. I usually get take out and they always get your order to you quickly. I like the chicken strip appetizer with the mild buffalo sauce. It's a large serving of chicken strips. 2 or 3 could snack on these. Delicious! Also, they're fish and chips are Amazing! I highly recommend them.

Went with elder mother, brother, niece and nephew.
1. Salads came, forgot the croutons.
2. Waited 40 minutes for our meals after asking waitress more than once to check on it.
3. Finally, dinners arrived. Nephews steak had a hair on it.
4. My niece and I both ordered grilled chicken and portabello mushrooms. Chicken was totally dried out. Tasted like defrosted frozen chicken from Costco with preservative after taste. Sent it back.
5. Between 5 adults, all that was really consumed was a bowl of onion soup and a French dip sandwich (both shared between us since was were so hungry).
Negative experience. I won't return.

1st time here and I had an a amazing time. Early morning. Mitch was on point and made sure we are happy all around. The cook came out and made sure the food was good and the atmosphere inside was awesome! We will definitely be making this our to go spot !
