The two of us were there for lunch and it took an hour and 10 minutes from the the entering and leaving. My main issue wasn't even the wait. It was the fact that they actually printed everywhere (banner, menu) that they were short staffed. As if this is how they planned it to be for a very long time, not "we are short staffed for a bit, but we are working on it". And to see a family of 4 that came in 30 minutes later after us get the food at the same time....well, that would not sit well with anyone. Food--they seem to be trying to be creative and I appreciated it that. The fries were good.

Great little bar and grill. A little off the beaten path, but our hostess at the River Valley Inn didn't steer us wrong. Good food, and a very personable waitress.

The food was fine, but there was a long wait, we got there when it was slow and I think they forgot about us because we waited an hour for our food before they got super busy, and they served us last after all the other people got there. They forgot one of my sides, I asked about it and they told me they would bring it out to us, the side ended up never coming and the waiter ended up just taking another item off the receipt, but also left the side order that never came on it.

I liked the aesthetic of the dinner and the food was okay, I don't like leaving negative feedback but I wanted to be honest about my experience. I'm sure it's not any one person's fault over what happened.

The pandemic has hit Thirsty Turtle hard for staffing, but the crew is still trucking along. Excellent food, great service despite the short staffing. Doing their best and still smiling. Kudos to the restaurant! Help keep them afloat, stop in for a drink and a bite. The cheese curds are always a favorite. The Grizzly burger with smoked brisket, grilled onions and provolone is lip smacking delicious!! A+ experience

I was going to place an order. Called and the message was rude. You can be nice and redirect customers to the online app to place to go orders. Not please! We can spend our money elsewhere! Which over the years has been a small fortune there! You change the message! Very nice! Its not what you say its how you say it! Thank you for listening!
