My favorite spot for years. Happy to see that covid regulation are adhered to. Loads of fun always.

It's a great place to take your family out to relax and enjoy yourselves. There's everything you may think of when going for vacation relaxation or whatever. You receive a good service from the staff; rooms and restaurants. You can go for shopping and spend the whole day indoors without noticing even the time.

We decided to get away for a weekend break and a try our hand at a little ganble. The room offered was not bad for a quick stay, but there is a huge underlying problem. News Cafe has music blasting until 11h30 that blasts through the hotel closed windows. If that is not enough their clients ( News Cafe clients) thereafter congregate in the car lot for a after party.
This Is a mixture of screaming, loud music, revving motors into Rev limiter status, wheel spinning, burnouts and just plain brain dead idiots that have no regard for anyone or anything. It really spoilt everything and promise never to use this hotel for a overnighter again. I am 100% this is a ongoing problem, which I think the Ridge hotel management are fully aware of, but have done little to address the problem. I think Highveld mall management need to address the problem equally.
