It's a beautiful place. The hotel is nice. It's on the mountain and they have a backdoor for some rooms. Oggies bar is a one stop and they have delicious food. If you're a gambler, this is a good spot to have fun and relax.

Hotel was in a beautiful and convenient location. Unfortunately my room was dirty when I arrived. The desk chair was absolutely covered in what I choose to believe was dried food. I had to scrub it down myself and was going to just let it slide since they were busy but when I lifted the toilet lit and there was a little residue left in the bowl, I asked for a new room. They did give me another room and that one was much better, but experience was a bit soured for such an expensive stay.

Great place to stay when in Deadwood. The hotel rooms are spacious and always very clean. All of the employees that we encountered were very friendly and helpful. The casino and sports bar were also great. Very hard working and friendly bar tenders and servers. I would recommend to anyone looking at staying in the Black Hills.

Our family went the the Deadwood Lodge Sports bar for a late lunch on Sunday, May 23rd, 2021. During our visit we received the lowest customer service ever. It was a 1 on a scale of 1 to 10. When we asked a senior waitress for assistance, she responded with, "I'm not your server, you'll have to wait for her." The food quality was a 3 on a scale of 1 to 10. For the past 10 years our family has been dedicated patrons of the Lodge Sports bar.
