The man who gave our tour was just full of stories about the building and people behind it, the kind of guy who knows a little about everything. Well worth your time just to hear some cool history behind the old lawless town called deadwood. One of the more exciting tours I had the pleasure of going on and the most memorable.

The tour was disappointing and a bit concerning. The building should be condemned given the lose floor boards and exposed electrical and plaster was falling on the second floor from the vibrations caused by participants walking on third floor. The guide Steve wreaked of marijuana and he had an incessant pacing problem that became nauseating as his flashlight flew around the room. The stories were ok and his presentation was ok, but we spent about 20 minutes performing an independent investigation of the building without any relevance or reference to it afterwards, so I'm not sure what the point was. Also, given the history of the building as a brothel, the nature of the stories is not appropriate for young children. Not the best tour I have taken and the safety of the building really needs to be questioned by the city inspector.

Ghost tour was informative. I cared more about what the upper levels of this beautiful historic building looked like!
Lots of old character still left! Some poor remodeling attempts tho.
I love old buildings and architecture!
Was worth it to me for those reasons.

STOP do not waste your money to stumble around in a dark run down building choking on dust and cigar smoke. Tour guides rambled on and had no real information including the photos they would show you from there cell phone of smudges and shadows on mirrors. What a waste of time and money!!! Boooooo!

The ghost tour was very informative with the history of the building and the inhabitants that still remain today in the form of spirits. Guide was fantastic.
