This is a nice hotel. But, for the price, I expected a lot more. There's not a hot tub, an area just for adults, hot springs, or fun activities outside the beach. As soon as you step on the sand, the locals pounce on you and harass you into buying whistles, pottery, and other things you don't want. Breakfast is pretty good, but I wish the staff was more diligent in monitoring the food. I saw a gentleman just stick his hand into the bread plate. That was nasty. The staff aren't as friendly as I'd like and I think they're just trying to keep up with all the people. This is a party location, not a place to just relax. If you're on the ground level, be sure to close the window in your shower!!!!! If you want a late night candy bar, you're SOL. There are no vending machines anywhere on the property. The food at the restaurant/bar area is amazing, however.
UPDATE: The hotel has a map of the property inside the key card envelope. We didn't realize that until our last day there. Who looks at the envelope once you get the key? No one. And, the staff at the front desk failed to explained this to us when we checked in. After our discovery, I walked ACROSS a busy street to the rest of the property. It wasn't "resort-like" at all. Once you get through the gate, there is a gravel road that leads to the back parking area. It's hard to walk up that street, too. The area is secluded and has a cool pool, but it just seemed boring. The view wasn't that great. And, there was just a small bar area. The tennis court was fairly nice, but again, you have to walk up a gravel path to get to it. I wasn't impressed.
