We spent Thursday and Friday nights here for the first time, July 1-3 2021.
Got their Playcation package so the rates were lower than usual.
Room was very nicely done and the common areas very clean.
As guests we enjoyed the 10% discount on the attraction Butterfly Wonderland which was a block away. It was wonderful and very worthwhile if you get the chance to go.
All the staff we encountered were super nice and very friendly.
The only downside is if you are a smoker. There are no smoking rooms and the entire hotel and casino are non smoking. The outdoor smoking area was spacious with lounge furniture but had very little shade. I would suggest some misters in that area as there many placed in other areas outside but not there. Smokers get hot too!
Overall experience was very good and we will likely return.

We are so happy to have came across this resort. We spent one night there but already plan to go back next year. The rooms were so nice and clean with gorgeous views. We spent a few hours out at the pool and had so much fun! We didn't do any gambling but it looked like a good time. All of the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Talking Stick Resort gives you everything you may want in a casino. I have visited the casino many times, and stayed in the adjoining hotel on two occasions. The casino floor is every bit a player for all the players, and although I would be considered a tightwad when it comes to gaming, I do find enjoyment in the slot machines and a few hands of blackjack. I have never won, but I do witness folks that seem to take a few bucks home. The games and dealers are all professional and fair. And, security does it's job seamlessly without ever a notice.
If I had any criticism of Talking Stick Resort, I cannot think of one thing. Maybe the alcoholic drinks are priced too high, but $8.50 for a vodka and cola is not so far out that I would lodge a complaint. The prices are high as expected, but the atmosphere is well worth it. The floor is always teeming with suntanned Arizona girls and the horde of men that follow. Most leave with smiles, yet there are a few that leave with a look that makes me worry. But, all in all, I prefer Talking Stick Resort to nearly every other casino located in the valley, and I highly recommend it. However, I have personally witnessed a small percentage of patrons who habitually overspend, and to those folks and their families I urge intervention and understanding.

They are not as tite with there machines as Arizona casino

A modern, spacious casino with separate enclosed poker and high limit rooms. A nice variety of gaming tables and slot machines provides a wide variety of gaming choices. A well ventilated location with no smoking allowed makes it an enjoyable place to stay and play. The rooms are well appointed and the beds are comfortable. I hope non smoking becomes the new normal because this a cool place to hang out with friends and family!
