We were so excited for the vacation and expected a pleasant room to rest after a whole day fun until we entered the hotel room. The temperature was 90, and they have NO air conditioning. And they didn't mention anything about it on their website. We used the fan one hour, it was still hot. We decided to leave the hotel, but the front desk told us no refund. She told us to open the window and THE ROOM DOOR when we sleep!!! It was speechless. We also took some pictures of the room. It's dusty. A plastic bag on the smoke detector. Part of the wall paper falls

I would first like to acknowledge the positive. The staff was excellent! Every one we had direct contact with were super friendly and accommodating.

Now the negative: the room was dirty.
There were cigarette burns in our carpet and all down the stairs we opted to take.
The lampshades had random fluids splashed on them.
The wallpaper was peeling away from the ceiling.
We had to put in extra effort to make sure our room was locked.
We were so scared of the elevator. Like really, really scared.
The pool was under renovation, don't pack your swimsuit. (We were told by summer it would be open, this was on June 5th).
The arcade was nonexistent.
We were afraid the ceiling fan would fall on us during the night.

If you're looking for a hotel that looks like the hotel from The Shining, hasn't been updated since the 50s and want to pay $100+ per night then this place is for you. I would recommend tent camping by the lake if available.

It was a good price and the room was clean. However, the room was extremely warm with no climate control in the room (other than a bathroom radiator). We were sweating! The whole hotel is incredibly dated, giving it a slightly creepy vibe. I don't know if we would stay here again, but for $130 a night and a last minute reservation I guess it served it's purpose.

Great place for the money, never crowded. Rooms are older but if they renovated they could easily charge 2-3 times the current fees.
