Lino was extremely welcoming and inviting. You can tell he is extremely genuine and sincere. This is the most welcomed I felt by a manager in a long, long time. To say the least, it was flattering, and at no benefit to him, which is why this review is the least I can do. Way to lead a great team in an amazing fashion! We will be back to see Lino, for sure!

I was both disappointed and impressed by various aspects of my recent visit.

The place is nicely decorated in the lobby and casino floor but rather sparse elsewhere. Casino is decently equipped but lacks a larger number of virtual poker/blackjack machines, and the live tables weren't open when I was there even though I'm fairly sure with their dividers they could've been. Lounge looked really nice but the restaurant felt really cold an uninviting. Unfortunately for us the pool was closed for renovations during the hottest heatwave I've ever seen (almost 40C) and I question why it is being done now as opposed to before, but I could be underestimating the work involved. It was just a bit of a letdown.

Room was spacious and the bed was decent. Bathroom was nice but I was disappointed as my shower head had zero water pressure and I wasn't given any of the usual shampoo/conditioner stuff and had to go ask. For the price though I've had worse.

The food at the restaurant was what impressed me the most. I had the chicken which was a surprisingly well put together dish with an amazing bbq sauce made from Saskatoon berries. For $19 it was a delicious meal and I'd highly recommend it.

I'll come back to the Nakoda again hopefully when it's more lively and all the restrictions are lifted.

Excellent hotel, very clean and cozy. The staff are friendly with amazing service. The food in the Ridge restaurant is to die for, even my picky eater gobbled up dinner.
