A decent local Casino that feels a bit dated. Craps, Roulette, Blackjack, random Poker-type card games, slots, and a Poker Room. The drinks are decent and come fairly regularly. I usually try an get a spot in the Poker room but don't know how they determine its hours. On the weekends there are multiple tables and a waiting list but I have been there weekday nights at times to find it closed (?). The food is OK - with the best option IMO being the Prime Rib sandwich at the concession stand.
Like a few have pointed out, people can and do smoke (heavily) in the Casino. Don't be surprised to wake up the next morning with burning eyes and quite a bit of congestion.
The Hotel itself is OK. There has been a lot of renovation over the past couple of years so those cheap rooms and Suites (yes - they do have Suites) continue to go up in price. The rooms have always been pretty clean and the pool/hot tub/sauna kept up also. For those that can't walk the one block over to the Casino, there is a shuttle to ferry you back and forth.
The staff - dealers, pit bosses, security, waitstaff, those at the Hotel, etc. - have been friendly and helpful all around. I have had no issues with any of them over the years. There was a time where I was walking and had dropped a $100 chip on the floor. While looking for it, a guy at the Blackjack table picked it up saying it was his after a waitress had pointed it out to him. There was a heated discussion about whose it was and they floor Manager had ruled in the other guys favor. I guess that they must have been reviewing the tapes on this for a bit as I got a call in my hotel room maybe a half hour later telling me I could come get my chip back and the other guy got the boot. Kudos to the 'eye in the sky'.
