We went on a Tuesday, there were maybe 4 tables in the entire place and yet we still could hardly get any service. The waitress was too busy talking to another table for 10 minutes. No really, we would like you to at least put our order in. There was absolutely no excuse for the poor service we received when there were so few customers.

Cheers to the busser who seemed to be the only person around doing his job.

Don't get me wrong, the atmosphere and patio are great. There was nothing wrong with the food and drink. The staff was very friendly and nice, just not available on the day we went.

Had the capicola and pineapple pizza which was pretty good, as was the spinach and artichoke dip, and the big projection screen showing baseball was great. However the rest of my visit wasn't nearly as good. The waitresses I had, while pleasant were very young and very new, they need some more practice, they always seemed very nervous and lacked confidence in themselves. The music was crazy loud, we had to talk quite loudly just to have a conversation and the lighting in certain areas is quite invasive. We really should have sat on the covered patio, as it seemed like a more relaxed environment. Overall, I'm glad it's open again, but I don't really see myself going there regularly.

Glad these guys are open again, brought my kids, kids loved it. BEST PLACE TO TAKE KIDS HANDS DOWN! Great AIR COOKED WINGS. Virtually no mess, relaxing Scoville Rating, great!

The servers were excellent, plus, your kids get a treat when they're done their food.
Oh plus, they have pool, mini golf, new arcade, gold game thingy, slots, and patio.
So fun coming here. Nothing but great things to say.
Also, they're priced VERY reasonable.

This is an update. I deleted my previous review. We visited Schanks for their grand reopening on July 1. Very nice new setup. Live music was excellent and it sounds like live music will be part of their new future.??'? Lots of games for adults and kids. I think the set up is better than before. Food was excellent. Burgers, poutine, and nachos were all very good. Service was excellent. I have upgraded my review from 4 stars to 5 stars. We live in the area and this may actually become our new "local"!!

My first experience back to Schanks after the pandemic was super impressive the service & food was outstanding. New ownership has taken it to a new level, New renos and a positive vibe. Claire & Kyle we absolutely lights out. I'll be back for the grand reopening. We'll done!
