Great RV Park

Enjoyed my stay here. Bathrooms and Showers were very clean. The park has drive in lots for RVs or Travel Trailers. The workers are really polite and the area was clean. I highly recommend!

Route 66 has a great environment. Gambling can last for hours and you can have a good time! Smoking area is dangerous due to winds and they need to move it back to the inside room. The wind kicked the emergency door open and nobody came to shut off the loud alarm which went on for at least 15 minutes while I was there. Cashier cage people are great! Notified the employee and she ignored me. Nobody comes around with drinks. You have to get your own and they hold a tip jar for what? The 66 young chicks walk around with their shiny silver dresses and don't acknowledge people and are stuck up. They need a personality test to at least say hello to customers. I still like Route 66 casino! I am going to try their pizza and see how they rated with blaze pizza. I will let you know!

Love it here.. definitely a different vibe compared to the other casinos. I've done pretty good here for the most part. They have a pretty good selection of games compared to isleta casino. Definitely worth the extra drive it takes to get here. It's only about 20 minutes from downtown.

Considering the location (inland, desert) and the price ($35) it's consistently the best option around for casino buffet style snow crab legs. Not too salty, bottomless pit continually filled, never have to wait. Most other stuff on the buffet is decent. Oysters are hit or miss (seasonal?). There is a clam sautee bar ....clams are good but way buttery and salty and there's always a line.

Overall, I believe the price was a bit high for what you get. This is not my kind of place so I'll share what was good and bad, MHO.
Pros:
Great staff
Spacious, nicely appointed rooms
Rooms were also clean and quiet
Variety of activities/indoor
Cons:
CIGARETTE SMOKE, good night, it was everywhere!
Do not stay at this hotel if you can't handle fresh or stale cigarette smells.
The food choices are difficult to configure more healthfully but not impossible
Not much to do outside
Don't be fooled by the dated main areas, the rooms are remodeled.

I think this hotel does a good job for folks who like to gamble but gambling is the main attraction. It's a 3 star hotel with good people holding it together. I tip my hat to the hard working folks but need to pass on a return, due to the smoke.
