Was there tonight for the buffet on a Saturday night in January the restaurant was practically empty. Ever since Hard Rock took over the Casino the restaurant has gone way downhill, and the near emptiness is a testament to the poor quality of the food. I've been going to this restaurant for years and there is half the amount of food there used to be. The selection is very basic, they've taken away all my past favourites. The roast beef was cold; dry and tough. The crab legs are thin and again cold, no crab meat in there. The only good thing left is the sautéed shrimp. The dessert selection was extremely poor, again half the quantity as in the past and mediocre. Very disappointing and definitely not worth $34.99. And that's the other thing - they keep jacking up the price. Used to be under $30, last time I went a month ago it was $32.99, then tonight $34.99! If you're going to jack up the price, then the food needs to increase and improve. Just terrible! And don't get me started on the Casino. They've fixed all the machines, measly or no payouts, rare bonuses. They've cut all the staff, I was parched and no one came by with drinks for the whole two hours I was playing. The casino was almost empty for a Saturday night. They've taken away the live bands, heck they've taken away all the fun! Hard Rock, you had better get your act together. Stop fixing the machines, and start giving people some value. Overall a very poor experience, and I'm not the only one who feels this way.
