On 7/9/2021 my husband and I traveled with a package that included hotel and ferry. That Friday the ferry left late from Ft Lauderdale and we arrived late to Bimini but we did the best to enjoy BUT coming back around 30 plus people and us were left stranded. The communication this company has with their customers is horrible. They state in other reviews that they text and email ... that is not true. We never got neither!! We were left in Bimini and was told to speak to the people who work for Balearia in Bimini Office. Around 600 plus people waiting by the casino of the Hilton hotel waiting for the trolley and the 2nd to last trolley staff started asking for a yellow mark on our paperwork and were removed from the trolley. I watched everything and first trolley the staff didn't ask for anything just how many people in your party. We were afraid of COVID and due to the disorganization we did not want to be bundled up with so many people and no 6ft distance. Locals state they always do this when they overbook the ferry. After waiting for the Balearia staff to explain to them what happened the staff laughed in our faces and didn't even try to help. We didn't get our money back and next ferry didn't come back until Wednesday and we had to pay for it again. We were laughed at. They laughed straight in our faces. Very unprofessional at what they did. I do not recommend them at all. All they continue to do and making it worse for the locals who live there.
