Wonderful people in the business. They are experiencing trouble with re staffing housekeepers so cleaning is minimal and it takes a long time to check in because rooms aren't ready. They are remodeling soon and it is an enjoyable stay. I recommend it highly.

A great place to escape the pressures of your workplace or maybe you just need to get away from hustle of home chores. An endless supply of soft drinks and coffee in a fun filled environment. Free admission and easy access from State route 116. Just off of interstate I74 with a beautiful view of Peoria and the Illinois River.

I usually enjoy the Paradise casino. However the hotel this time left a bitter taste in my mouth. For starters it says that I have two free nights a week as a reward member and they no longer give you comp nights if you don't play at the casino. I miss the opportunity to play at the Casino because of this key card issue, which hindered my opportunity to not only win but also to earn credits towards my free nights. So that is issue number one. The biggest issue for my most recent stay was that I reserved two rooms and one of the rooms had major key malfunctions and we wasted a lot of time which I felt like we should have been comp'd for. When I spoke to management the following morning she stated that the night auditor had put a note in that we only waited 20 minutes which was not true... it took 20 minutes for security to even come from the casino to let us in with the key. And this was after we had gone up and down the elevator three times attempting to get in with the key card. For what it's worth their hotel and their rooms are not worth all of this drama. And next time I will just stay at the Hampton.

Hotel gets 4 stars but the casino gets 2 stars, averaging the rating at 3 stars overall. Stayed here last week and hotel had no food or beverage services, not even complimentary breakfast or fruit. Hotel was otherwise very clean and has very nice staff. Casino leaves quite a bit to be desired... the bar is cash only and the ATM charges $5/withdrawal; no cocktail servers working on a Friday night when I was there; very cramped space with few desirable options, and too many slot machines taking up precious space. If not for so many people willingly losing large sums of money gambling, I don't think this business model would work, especially if there was a competing casino nearby.

The bathroom in the hotel room had a dirty bathtub, as well if you moved the chair there was tissue under it and clearly the Seats were not moved to vacuum. Beds were comfortable. Staff was friendly. The shuttle bus was taking forever throughout the night. We rode over to the casino pretty fast, however, took us 30+ mins to get back to our hotel. It would have been quicker to walk back then just wait for the shuttle bus.

The food at the casino was not worth the price. I expected good quality and it was not good quality at all. The casino in general was nice, but would be even more nice if they had a little more wider variety of games and a little more organized.

We did enjoy our stay, however we did see improvements being needed throughout the trip.
