Traveling south on I75 I would always read the sign for Jai for 2 decades and never checked it out. So, I finally followed the signs to the spot and got some rough directions to a poker room. My first impression of the building was it was a bit dated but the building was very large. The old sign above was very cool in it's old way. I took a lap around the property to the back of the building and the parking lot was definitely getting old and it was very quiet. The parking lot had a couple dozen cars parked so I sat in the parking lot and just gazed at the old sign for a while and thought how awesome this place probably once was long ago. I don't know how old the building is but I was hoping I could watch some Jai alai. I heard the ball moves very fast, is it fast enough to kill or hurt the players? I don't know, but It is sad that doesn't play here no more, I am way behind the times.

Loved it. Dealers are really nice and helpful.

Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday good place to be. No action any other time. If you like to play poker. That's the when and where. Lol

Ok I've been going to this place for 20 years and yes it needs some work done to it but it's a good place with good people working there the new manager for the poker room is a bright young guy that has some good ideas to improve not only the poker room but the whole facility sorry I forgot his name.ocala and Gainesville locals I urge you to go out to ocala poker and support them if they close it down thats going to suck then it's atlrast a hour to go anywhere else to play poker....

I'll be honest w this place. You would have people play there if your pai how tables in the bonus you can bet a $1 instead 5 dollars. Or what every they want to bet in the bonus. Two the place is out dated. Bathroom were a mess. I see why people go elsewhere. One and done for me.
