Great place to watch the races and have your own party. Drive the car to your spot and bring chairs tent, food and drinks and enjoy.

This place is my place is my life my family has came here for the races every year for Easter to camp for 5 generations this place holds so many memories in my heart that I will hold onto forever currently sitting in a camping chair at oakbank the place has gone a little down hill with no sideshows this year and selling 10000 tickets only had 2 food stands donuts where nearly ran out and the chips ran out straight away not oakbank fault tho my family will come here forever this by far is my longest review I absoloutly love this place and how exciting it ia

Had my son's 50th birthday celebration at Oakbank racecourse on Sunday 28th March for the easter carnival opener...the Family Race Day...the weather was perfect and a good time was had by all including the children....thanks to the new management in particular Shane Collins it was much appreciated.. Even though the grandstands are condemned and you can't see all the track, Oakbank is still a fabulous day at the races. In the true meaning of a country track. You can visit the horses in their stalls. Great areas for the family even on the hottest of days.
