Room was recently renovated at just our what the description on the Luxor website said. In reality it had new carpet, likely a new bed and maybe new hardware in the bathroom. The wall paper was pealing and the 2 large comfy chairs were clearly not new. We woke up to the sound of pounding and drilling to find out they are renovating the floor above us. We stayed on a Tuesday night and the casino and restaurants were fairly empty so you know they have plenty of empty rooms. Why or a guest in a room that will be impacted by construction unless you're sold out?

After 45 minutes on hold for the operator to let them know their construction woke us up 1 1/2 hours before our planned wake up time, they credited up back our dinner purchase from the night before. This is why I gave them 3 star inserted on 2 star.

With so that said, we had a great meal at the sports bar restaurant and we did the room to be nicely sized and comfortable. The bed was excellent. The shower had the craziest amount of water pressure and water volume, your hair will be soap few in about 2 seconds.

With all the options in Las Vegas and a great recent stay at another MGM property that we found far superior, I'm not sure I'll be back to stay at the Luxor.

It's an amazing place. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The bathrooms are large and clean with excellent showers (great water pressure), there is a large pool and other amenities. There are also a variety of shops and restaurants, including some terrific shows going on all the time. My bride and I cannot speak well enough about this place. It's truly remarkable and we look forward to coming back again!

This was a good hotel. The accommodations were good. I liked how I couldn't hear anything from other rooms from in our room. Also, there was an amazing bellhop named Brent. He was the nicest and most understanding person. We appreciated his help and extremely delightful and pleasant demeanor. I understand that is part of his job, but he definitely went above and beyond!

The hotel and hotel staff were impressive. They have great daily housekeeping service as well. A cozy place to stay that is not so expensive and will deliver what is needed. I would definitely say that this hotel is magnificent and absolutely my favorite. Foods and desserts are scrumptious. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

Room was spacious and was nice to stay in. It's an older hotel so please understand it's not going to be perfect with everything. No dance floor, no problem! Enjoyed the hotel bar after a walk around the Strip. The bar played good music and hey, dancing in your chair is a great alternative. Adapting to the changes at it's finest. Stay safe in Vegas everyone. Cheers!
