Went for the buffet and wasn't disappointed. The boiled shrimp was perfectly seasoned and the highlight of the meal. Gumbo was also very good. Enjoyed the baked chicken and the vegetables.

The desserts were plentiful. My favorite was the make-your-own sundae. Bread pudding and carrot cake was also enjoyed by the table.

Our waitress was great! She had too many tables. It took a long time to get our food. They were very busy. Food was good. Seafood gumbo is outstanding but it was unbelievable to me that you are in the South and serving Gumbo and don't have potato salad on the menu. I ordered a bowl of gumbo and that's all I could eat. But I needed potato salad and garlic bread or crackers with it and they didn't have either. They did bring about dinner rolls when we first got their one for each person with butter and they were served cold with butter. They were tasty but probably would have been really good if they had been warm. My brother got a salad with his meal and he wasn't given crackers either. So I wasn't impressed.

Excellent casino. Plenty of nice slot machines. Some good play on some of them. Casino is clean and fresh smells good. Bathrooms are kept up very well. The food is delicious. The buffet had a good variety all fresh and tasty food and of course delicious desserts. The staff and the cashiers are more than helpful very cheery And very nice to help you

CORRECTION ON MY PART😉 I certainly retract my comments about the lack of winners. I was judging it by the evenings we had visit very late on a Monday and Tuesday. Returning home today I found an advertisement in the mail for the casino. I was surprised by how quickly Island View Casino Resort sent promotions. In Oklahoma rewards are based on what you play with a return of maybe 3%. Looking inside briefly I realized that there were fun participant games for each day of the week, that we missed out on. Lot's of winners and OH MY GOSH!---Seriously generous coupons for entertainment, food, free play and 3 nights stay FREE! Unbelievable!! I wish I could return to use them in May. The most impressive was that we were given $15. free play on our first visit. And $15.00 food coupon that we were able to use at the bakery on the casino floor. The cheesecake was so 😋 we return the next evening just to purchase a piece before we left. When we return to Gulf Port we will be more informed regarding the fun promotional nights that increase your odds of winning and most of all just plain fun. Thank you Island View Casino.

I love this Casino and Hotel! The staff are super friendly! They have put forth great efforts to help protect everyone that comes inside. The restaurant staff are great! The lady that took our to-go order was the sweetest! The food was great and they even gave us extra condiments without being asked! The slots are up to date with the newest slots! I couldn't decide what to play 1st. We didn't stay at the hotel this time but in the past they were great! Really nice rooms and bathrooms that have been remodeled and they even have a new wing that was built a couple of years ago that would blow your mind! They always give really good free play and comps verses other casinos! They have so many amenities and things to do as well! Highly recommend you try it at least once!
