This 5 star review is based solely on the entertainment staff and the working staff such as waiters, cooks, and cleaning staff. All of above listed folks were the best! Entertainment crew was so much fun, so lively, and very very nice. The waiters were always so attentive and always so nice and ready to get you whatever you needed. This hotel is so lucky to have these smiling and friendly individuals otherwise my rating would have been a 3.
The reason for this is because the front desk staff and the "concierge" are so very lacking and not friendly at all. It's a shame because they probably get paid more than the others but they are not great at customer service. Room check in was at 3 and we arrived much earlier than that but even at 3 the room wasn't ready. As soon as we asked for manager, guess what? Room was suddenly ready. Our "concierge" told us she would take care of everything and told us we can make reservations for the restaurants the next day because everything was booked. Well, next day apparently the Mexican restaurant was booked for the entirety of our trip. She made it seem that the next day we can make reservations and it would be fine but again not the case. We then again asked to speak to management and once again, we now had reservations to the Mexican restaurant. Our "concierge" tried to get us to go to the breakfast presentation and once we mentioned we were not interested and we didn't want to spend our time doing that, she practically ignored us the rest of the time and would not even greet us.
The food at the restaurants was really good and the dinner buffet had different themes every night such as Chinese, Mexican, etc...
Overall this is a great resort, I'm just glad I didn't need to deal with the front staff too much.
