My fiancé and I stayed at the Hyatt for five nights. Three of those days the shower flooded. We complained to hotel staff all three days. They sent maintenance to come fix it. The maintenance put Drano liquid down the shower. It was a temporary fix for a few minutes then it would flood again. The maintenance guy Antonio was very nice and he had to even go downstairs to get more Drano liquid. When it drain for the final day I had enough. We had to use our towels, face cloth, and wash cloth to sop up the water. The water was literally creeping out the bathroom door. Our items got damaged. We asked to speak to the manager, Angelo came and spoke with us. Angelo did apologize and offer to get our items dry cleaned. Some items that were damage could not be dry cleaned. After demanding for another room Angelo agreed and said I will room will be ready when we come back from our excursions. When we came back from our excursions our new room was ready but it was a downgrade from our previous room. I was mortified. We then spoke with Angelo again and he apologized and stated he didn't look at the room he just told him to switch us. He corrected the mistake by giving us a similar room to our first room with a working shower. The next day we ordered room service and got wings. The woman who took our phone order messed up our order and when we called to clarify she had an attitude and said they don't serve wings at dinner time. We didn't know and they just gave us wings 2 minutes prior. My boyfriend and I still tried to eat the wings even though the order was wrong. Wow eating the wings we discovered that the meat was still raw and was bleeding. When we said something to staff they said they will look into it. Overall the amenities were perfect and the hotel itself was beautiful but the treatment that we got for our room was mortifying and made our experience uncomfortable. We have lots of photos and videos.

We are here now. This is our first time in Aruba and first time in Hyatt. The hotel grounds are beautiful. The food and restaurant services are excellent.
The check in process was very poor. There was no word about daily beach/pool reservations. We were just handed a key. Usually front desk explains a little bit about the grounds. Also parking process was not explained. I had to stay on another line to find out about parking. When asked about Covid testing I was given a card with a website where you cannot book an appointment. When asked other questions front desk was not able to address, just useless.
It is impossible to get a beach front chairs and umbrellas. Everything is reserved even if you are first five people
In line (which is also ridiculous, no other hotels have this daily line for beach/pool reservations)
Room cleaning is not good at all. They don't leave enough towels, shampoo and room does not feel clean after their "cleaning". The balconies in the rooms are tiny.
I expected a more a much better and a more professional customer service from Hyatt.

Just a follow up to the post below.

Day 6: No bottled water left in the room.

We come to Aruba for the beach. It seems that it is impossible to get a front row Palapa. We've asked every day and nothing is available. We talked to a manager who said they would check into it and get back to us. No one ever got back to us. They were happy to rent us a tent at $90 a day which is a ridiculous price but we paid it for 6 days. House keeping is a joke. Day 1 we had no shampoo, day 2 we had 1 wash cloth, day 3 no wash cloths, call the manager who apologized and would make sure the problem would be corrected, day 4 no wash cloths. We usually stay at the Hilton and made a huge mistake staying at the Hyatt. We have stayed at this Hyatt before but it has taken a nose dive in terms of customer service.

I've had good experiences during my stay here. Facilities are nice and up to date. Its location and view is what made me decide to stay here. Right on Palm Beach, you can enjoy the ocean view all day and night. There is an adult-only pool which is amazing. Staff are nice and helpful. I'd highly recommend this resort, whether you are traveling alone or in groups. It's in the high-rise area so there's lots of restaurants around. Give it a try and you won't regret.

Absolutely gorgeous facility and not sure it is possible for the staff to be anymore helpful or friendly. We had one small hiccup (very rowdy neighbor in the middle of the night) and hotel security was there and resolved within minutes. Very convenient location and beautiful setting.
