Nice no frills county campground with electric and water. Grassy sites. Good value. The only downside is the dump station is inside the gate, kind of hard to find, and terribly inconvenient. Whoever decided where to put it and designed it probably never owned an RV. I still recommend it.

The town of Ferndale is real quaint with some nice Victorian architecture, but there's really not much to do. Don't bother looking for The Majestic Theater from the movie. It was a facade built where there's a city parking lot. It's still worth the short side trip from highway 101.

For a small town this is oodles of fun for any age; horse races, carnival games/rides, and so many amazing food vendors. The East African food was the best hands down! Also check out the farm animals, baked goods, etc.

Great little fair! Be prepared to pay cash at most booths. Ladies bathrooms run out of toilet paper QUICKLY. Decent selection of typical fair food. Horse races were a blast! Overall great fun for all.

Great place to take the kiddos once a year. Been enjoying since i was a kid and very nostalgic to me. Love watching my kids enjoy it just as much.

What a fun place. Shows, music, animals, and horse racing. However, the prices for everything is really steep making it a one time visit for a family. Although lots of fun, venues like this are pricing themselves out of business. It is worth and not worth visiting. Lots of money needed.
