It was comfortable, the casino very nice, and the food was decent but pricey for Mexico. My wife and I stayed two night, the power was turned off in the middle of the first night by the state Department of Energy to do work. We had no warning or notice, it was out until sunrise. I had reserved to nights on Expedia and explained that we wouldn't be needing the third night. Well, come check out time I have been charged for all three nights. I requested a refund from the worker at the front desk but after a long battle against the language barrier he said that he couldn't do anything about it and left a note for his manager. All of this time, there was little trouble in translation. The staff spoke excellent English until I needed my refund. After not being able to get anything done with the front desk I made several attempts to contact the hotel again with phone calls being blocked with "No habla" and e-mails being ignored. I wouldn't recommend this place.

A good dining place, especially for breakfast and brunch -- including an excellent buffet on Saturday and Sunday. (Please bring it back for seven days each week.) The sparkling casino is so much less annoying, now that they've turned the raucous noises WAY down. We haven't stayed in the hotel for several years, but the rooms were always comfortable and we understand there have been recent updates and renovations, and the costs are reasonable.

My husband and I both were here for medical and we enjoyed the Pueblo Amigo. The service was impeccable as I needed ice after my surgery we did not have any problem with getting as many buckets as we needed in a short time. The hotel is run like a will oiled machine. I brought my atomizer with essential oil for the room as the Casino is smoking. We heard a bit of noise but nothing to keep us awake. We were also upgraded to a Junior suite which was very large. The bed was comfy and the room clean. I wanted to swim so we moved to the Quartz hotel to swim and I have now waited almost an hour for ice. I will for sure book at the Pueblo Amigo next year!

Casino does not pay out caise nobody wins.

They should have let us know before check-in that the AC wasn't working, so we could have gone to another hotel earlier without having to pay and going through the hustle. The AC wasn't working in mid August. The room was very hot to be able to sleep. We decided to leave to another hotel at midnight because the room condition was umberable and requested a refund,. They did not offered to accommodate us to another room...they just said, "I am sorry for the inconvenience", ", but still charged us for the night. Attached are the pictures of the thermostat. Do you think this is fair??
