ONCE AND NEVER AGAIN.
Because we came from a Catergory A Country (New Zealand), The border told us we did not have to quarantine. After we arrived at the hotel, we were told that we still had to quarantine for 8 days. The hotel room was ok, did not get food for the 1st day we were there. Food was ok in quarantine, Cleaning staff were nice but what was very bad was that doors from other rooms were left open from other quarantine people. It was very loud, a lot of smoke from cigarettes was everywhere. After the quarantine we stayed at the hotel for another 4 weeks, Which was a big mistake. We had to pay immediatly when we arrived which was not ok because we had 3 days from booking.com. We were not allowed to eat in our rooms but had to sit in a cold eating room, another problem was cats were on the eating tables sleeping. Cats were eating food from the quarantine guests as shown in the picture below. We have always stayed in a 3 star hotel previous years which was much better than this very bad hotel. We have never seen this in any hotel before, especially not in a 4 star one. The breakfast was often not fresh and as shown in the picture below, the cheese was not fresh and the butter was moldy. For Dinner there were only 3 options, The waiter Katja, Was always very nice and caring for us and always appologised for the lack of good food.
In the last 3 days when other people came, they started being nice and we didnt feel very welcome for the hotel. For such a long flight (16000km) we expected much better than this for the price. We would maybe give this hotel maximum 2 stars.
