I stayed here in April what a bad decision. The first night I got there at three in the morning I had one of the staff members try to open my door. When I had called down to the front desk they apologized and said that they had sent the staff up to the wrong room. I was fine with it because I know everyone makes mistakes. This was just the beginning however. Most of the staff was really pleasant to deal with. There was one front desk lady that was completely and utterly disrespectful and rude. I stayed there for almost two weeks in total. Items were missing from my room from some staff members presumably taking them. When I got back to the states I had discovered that they had defrauded my credit card for $130. The money means nothing to me the principle of them stealing from me is what bothers me. Do yourself a favor and find another place in San Jose if you want to have a no hassle no problem stay.

Check in time was enforced. You have a have a feeling that you are welcome but at the same time, it's all about the money. Room was clean and every day. Espresso machine in the room as well. Wifi is great. Most of the two was enjoyable.

The remodeled motel is really nice - nicest in downtown San Jose. Certainly a 4 star. Extremely clean, great restaurant, pleasant friendly staff. The bar is rather small and crowded with working girls.

There is no shopping or banks near by. The main downtown shopping district, ATMs, central market (great place to shop, eat,visit) and wonderful museums are several blocks away but a taxi is less than $2 about anywhere downtown. Do not leave the place after dark unless it is on fire.

Just a side note - the working ladies in the bar are primarily single moms supporting children. Many really nice ladies but some will take things from your room if they get a chance. Put all valuables in the safe when they are around. Only get your wallet out of the safe to pay when they leave - not before.

Great service. The room I was in had a old smell to it so that takes away a bit for me. Small bar and casino...or a few slots/games. Lots of women and old guys on a Monday. Other than to pick up something I wouldn't stay here but it's a good hotel

The bar is a brothel and the casino left a little bit to be desired, but the room was decent. The service was amazing and we enjoyed ourselves.
