This visit was atrocious. I arrived at 3:45 for 4pm check in. Got told my room wasn't ready. I was early, I thought, so that's fine. They said they'd give me a call when it was ready. I didn't receive a call until 5pm. I had been sitting in my car in the parking garage waiting the whole time, nothing better to do in Tunica.

Finally got to my room and the entire hallway and room reeked of stale smoke. Looking around the room revealed cigarette burns in the couch cushions, disgustingly thick dirt and dust on the wall behind the headboard and, most disturbing of all, a huge bloodstain on the box spring of the bed that was tactfully hidden beneath the mattress.

The casino was great for gambling, I had an awesome time at the machines and the tables. This was the only good thing about this trip. The evening went on and it came time to eat and I decided on the Asian bistro. The food was astoundingly expensive and quality-wise could barely hold a candle to even Panda Express.

In short, if you want to go and gamble then this is a fine place to go. Just don't eat there and definitely don't stay the night.

They do not give free play as often or as much as other casinos. I will say that it is possible to win a little here, just bring plenty of money to make it happen. The management I have encountered are very professional and I have had some great customer service from a lady in management. Loved that!

After reading several recent reviews we were very concerned about what shape the place would be in, well we were pleasantly surprised to find that most of what had been said was not true. First off our check in girl was not the most pleasant, possibly having a bad day, but others we over heard speaking appeared to be very nice. The room was nice, yes it could have used a little work-some peeling wall paper, but there was no unpleasant smells and the room was clean. If you're a coffee drinker you might want to bring your own little single serving maker, there was no coffee maker in the room. We need our coffee to start the day! The other missing item, a safety bar for the bath/shower. Although my parents are not disabled they are older and could have used a safety bar getting in and out of the shower. The casino was clean and very nice. I'm a none smoker so of course it was a little smoky but they allow smoking so what do people expect. We ate at 2 of the restaurants on site, the cafe and burger place, both were what you would expect and service was average. We've been to Tunica a handful of times, this was the first time staying at the Horseshoe, we would definitely stay again. For COVID worriers masks are required and there were workers wiping down machines all day and night .

Great place. Had a great time. Friendly dealers, as were all the employees. They do a great job of quickly wiping down machines and tables when someone gets up. Room was big and all was clean. Definitely will go back.

Room was half cleaned. It needs to checked before client checks in.
