The bartenders aren't people people. They're unorganized and you can see how unorganized by how they shelve the bottles of alcohol which takes them forever to get you a drink because they're not separated by type; whiskey scotch and bourbon should be side by side and so on. I should never tip poor service, but I still do out of habit. I need to stop caring about what they'll think of me for not tipping and which would maybe make them think about why. Someone needs to be a mystery shopper to get this train wreck back on track. The only person that seemed to have a good attitude was the janitor that cleaned the mens room that evening.

Me and my fiance thought it would be a good idea to try the menu at the Hollywood Park casino due to wonderful photos and the ambiance. But in actuality the customer service was wanting and the food was lacking all appeal. I ordered steak for me and my fiance, the meat was not cook correctly, chewy, tough and tasteless. We were expecting a hot meal but what we got in actuality was piss warm food. The mashed potatoes tasted like something out of the frozen food section. There were only two things that were noticeably decent and one you can't really mess up and that would be my bourbon. The other was the asparagus, which was the only redeeming Factor on the entire plate. We will not be going here ever again.

The floormen do a good job for the most part, and I rarely get forgotten when I'm on the list for a poker game. Exceptional poker tournament staff especially. Chips aren't very glamorous and neither is the setting, but, hey, it's better than the Commerce Casino! Their cafe and restaurant are actually pretty decent.
