Good bartenders are not merely purveyors of drinks, but they are folks who have the ability to make their customers feel comfortable and welcomed. Usually, they are great conversationalists, too.
Two of my very favorites are Jane and David and, conveniently, they both work at "99 Hops House" in Hollywood Casino, St. Louis!
Hint: If you are not sure what to order just tell them what you like and they will suggest, or create, something just for you.
A suggestion is that you also include River City Casino on your visit to St. Louis and enjoy a drink, crafted or poured, by Steve at Bar Central.
Steve is an expert at mixology and a fine host!

Not very clean and never win money.

My husband and I spent Sunday afternoon here. In about 4 hours we lost $1000 the most we won was $80..... they are over the top on their face mask requirements, my husband was smoking a cigarette and they asked him to pull his face mask up even while smoking, exactly how do you smoke and wear a mask? As we were leaving stopped to purchase a pretzel. The girl behind the counter was waiting on a customer as she finished her transaction, she walked away as if I were not standing there. There was another worker making dough, hollered at her to come back, when she didn't he rudely replied that I would need to fill out some paper in order to purchase a pretzel.... what!!!! Unfortunately I never got my pretzel. They are concerned with social distancing, face mask and all the above but want you to touch paperwork and a pen that everyone else is touching, I have never seen anything like this. You can rest assure we will never return to this place. Customer service and integrity is in need of some serious evaluations to say the least. It would be in your best interest to stay clear of this place.

Great room at a great rate! All of the staff were super friendly and helpful! The casino is good but watch out for the craps table. The min bet is $25 which is a bit steep and no lower options was disappointing. That's the only reason it's not a 5 star rating.
