The main reason I am giving it two stars is because the majority of the staff members were absolutely amazing! When I first arrived we spent over an hour in line due to the fact there were people were making their own line and cutting us off on the other side. On the second day of our stay we tried booking excursions. They told us if we sit with them at a breakfast our excursions would be cheaper. We told them from the beginning if it had anything to do with a timechair or anything of that sort we were not buying it and they stated we wouldn't have to buy anything just sit through the meeting. Long story short, the meeting that was only suppose to take 1 1/2 hours took over 3 hours. When we sat in the meeting room the woman told us "at the end we just need a yes or no". When we told them no, they proceeded to get a manager, then 2 people after that to try and sell it to us. Not to mention throughout the whole meeting the workers were rolling their eyes and giving us dirty looks when they couldn't sell it to us. Needless to say it was a turn off to wanting to come back. The food was alright, one thing to note is if you do stay here, make sure you book your dinners in advance. On another note, the resort itself has a lot of cool things to do such as mini golf, laser tag, escape room, etc but for an "all inclusive" and having to pay separate for all of those cool things to do on top of my rate for staying was not ideal. I personally wish I would have known that earlier. I could say more but all in all, this resort was personally not for me.

The two stars comes from the fact that the beach was nice and clear water and the pools were plentiful and always clean and beautiful.
Everything besides that was either a battle or an average experience at best. The food is what you would expect from an all inclusive resort not super great just sliding by with the bare minimum it edible. There were a few exceptions here and there.
The bars were pretty good and they pour the drinks were a decent amount of alcohol. My complaints there is they deceive you a bit with the 21 bars description. There are 2 actual "club" type bars in the main lobby that are open decently late with a few side stand bars here and there in the main middle. However, literally every other bar is a stand along the resort which closes at 6. So, they close all the bars and pools at 6 so they can herd everyone to the main lobby.

Our stay in our room was a disaster. We had problems from the beginning. First, our key wouldn't work then our phone wouldn't work. We had set our AC at 65 degrees when we first arrived and 7 days later and FOUR maintenance calls after we are at the end of our trip and it is 75 degrees in our room. They have not fixed it despite being in the room every time we called and there has been no apologizes no solutions and it is still hot every day.
On top of that our maid decided to just stop showing up to clean our room for the past few days. We called yesterday to tell them that no one cleaned our room and they sent someone out and then we turn around the next day and the room was failed to be cleaned again.

You get unlimited food and drink and pools and beach... until 6. But honestly the quality of the everything and the TERRIBLE service we received was NOT worth the money spent. Wouldn't recommend to a friend. Fly to a resort in Cancun.

About to talk to the manager now. I will wait and see if they do anything or just do nothing like they have done this entire vacation.

Beautiful location and the staff is very helpful and welcoming. We did not receive the rooms we paid for and my children spent their first night sleeping on couches and under towels from the bathroom. We reserved 3 rooms and all three were not what we had paid for or expected. We reported bugs in our second set of rooms. The reservations staff are slow and appear under staffed. The check out process is challenging as well and the resort will not allow you to leave until the process is complete. They hold you hostage and will not allow you to leave the property until you receive an exit voucher. Please plan plenty of time to complete the check out process.

You may also find the limitless resort credits worthless. They inflate all prices and require you to pay a 25% service fee. If you plan to book trips and excursions, all can be booked externally for less than the resorts 25% service fees. As an example I paid $433 for a 'free' boat trip that I booked with the resort. As an alternative to booking excursions with the resort, Trip Advisor has a lot of recommendations for travel options which we used and were pleased with after learning about the hotels deceptive marketing and inflated service fees.

The food at the resort was good. The pools clean and the grounds well maintained. Given the challenges mentioned above, I will not book this resort again and will look at other all inclusive destinations in the future.

Dominican is our new favorite Caribbean island, everyone is so friendly and helpful. Stayed at Hard Rock in Punta Cana now twice in last 12 months. Loved the facility as a whole and all of people as well. Was hoping to make this a regular vacation spot.
However experience last time was not good as far as how the check-in process went. Was charged more than what reservation said, had wrong rooms (which they did fix this issue as soon as they could) and got railroaded by there "Legendary member services". All in all had to pay $1500 USD more than what I thought I would have to pay.
If you want a great trip I would still recommend them, but when asked if you would be willing to have a "free" breakfast (keep in mind this resort is all-inclusive) to hear about all of the services they offer for being a member, run as fast as you can. They will take 4 hours out of your vacation you will never get back and promise you all of this free stuff on current and future stays, but then never give it to you. Member services there is a joke. I tried long and hard while there and since coming back for them to make this right so that we could keep coming back but they just kept side stepping everything . This is making me re-think my loyalty to them, and will start looking at other resorts for my return trips.
So you can see response which is the typical response you get...I'm sorry we screwed you over, but we aren't going to do anything about it, hope you come back...do they even listen or just don't care you guess is as good as mine.

This review is for the rock shop and the employees there. We came to shop and get credit for our visit. As the hotel is all inclusive, you can't just walk around. The shop manager was able to talk with security as I have an original Hard Rock Rewards Member card. She could tell I had been all over the planet. She was nice enough to walk us around to see the other memorabilia throughout the section of the hotel between the main entrance and the alternate entrance. We were then able to explore the area from the Rock Shop to the casino on our own. Next tome we come back if it is cost effective we will try to stay here. What little we saw, and got to taste was very good.
