The Hard Rock is a great hotel and casino. The location is amazing since you can walk to Heavenly, the lake, and more spots along Lake Tahoe Blvd. There are pictures and items from different artists and bands who've been to the hotel, such as Elvis Presley, Prince, and many others I can't think of right now. The casino is pretty tiny but has everything you need. There are some restaurants in the casino section that are pretty good as well. The parking garage is great, the first floor is for valet parking and Tesla's. The floors above are free for anyone to park.

I'm not rating this place low according to the stale smell of cigarette smoke that hits you the second you walk in. It's in Nevada, I expected that. It's the rest. I paid over $1000 to stay here two nights. I've stayed in better rooms for less than $200. The staff have been unfriendly to say the least. Room service was rude, the people at the bar were rude...they act like you are doing them a favor. The winning averages of the slots are terrible too. I expect to lose money at a casino, it happens. But along the way, I expect to enjoy the other stuff. You're paying for the experience, unless you strike gold. I've visited hard rock hotels all over the globe, and I've always had great experiences. It's why I booked this place for my first visit to Tahoe. What an utter disappointment. I put the AC in my room to 65 degrees when I arrived 6 hours ago. I just got back and it's at 72 degrees, which is hotter than when I arrived. I should probably ask for some kind of refund, but to be honest, I'm over it. This place is a dump, and I have no plans to rebook. My overall opinion of hard rock as a franchise has also swan dived. Tahoe is a beautiful place. Don't make my mistake and book at this hotel, pick another. Whoever is managing this place needs a pep talk with employees, and fast.

No heat in the room, was 58 degrees the whole time, the toilet was broken and over filled onto the floor. For the amount of money it cost for two nights 750.00 it was absolutely not worth it! This is my first ever review which means I was not satisfied. The music was good and the guitars were cool but not worth the 3 and a half hour drive!

Well I've been to a few Hard Rock's and in comparison this is the section 8 version. Or if you prefer, Hard Rock light. The point, at least to me is the check out the iconic rock swag! As a guess I'll say they had maybe 30 pieces in all. Not very much at all! Bar staff very nice, knowledgeable about the surrounding area, and fast
