couldn't stay... closed for covid krap. Went and played/stayed at the Holiday Palace resort. Very happy I did.

A bit dated but lots of sslots

They have low minimum bets. Used to be $2 now $5. Only one blackjack table but they added about 4 Ngau Ham (niu niu) tables. I had fun as it is mostly Kmer people very few chinese. They have free food and drinks. I ordered a club sandwich off a menu, $6 with fries. Very good. Too bad sihanoukville is now horrible due to the chinese influx.

You get stared at like you have 3 heads when you walk in, maybe because my partner and I aren't Chinese, which seems to be the biggest group of tourists here. Anyways after a while I think they got over the fact that there was an American and an Irish in their casino and the stares stopped. Overall not a bad experience but I probably wouldn't go again. I just felt out of place.

This hotel is completely a rundown joint. The carpet in the hallway is very old. Pieces of carpet are missing in the room doorway. The bed is with old bend out of shape box spring only. Breakfast area is very tiny with extreme limited tables and chairs. Regardless of seating availability, breakfast cannot be brought up to the room unless you pay for it as a meal! Everywhere smells like smoke. Curtain is falling apart, lights don't work, no hot water in the bathroom, and the toilet leaks at all times even after they attempted to repair! Only good thing is the AC does blow cold air!
