Not so sure about this place yet. I think of casino's as each on I think about the city. New Orleans has never been a fortunate area for me and they aren't really friendly when it comes to comps. Can even put in a dollar bill at Harrah's. Because of that I'd rather go east or west then deal with New Orleans to get their. But as a casino I thought it was clean and comfortable and had just about every game I like

The manager Sheila has a horrible attitude. I requested a written policy and was told I wasn't getting it. How could you verbalize a policy with nothing to back it up?! Of course it's Saturday and no one else was available. I suggest you gamble elsewhere. I will never go back to this place again. They give attitude and tell you a bunch of lies about policy. Post your Policy.

I cannot speak highly of the new security chief and his team...
A $100 bill was found on the floor and two people were arguing over who's it was but security was already on top of it. They ran back the camera footage and lone and behold... IT WAS MINE. Apparently, it fell out of my pocket and I didn't notice. It's not just them, it's the entire staff. I once left a ticket in a machine and one of the clean up guys brought it back to me. The doorman always remembers my face and the waitstaff knows my drinks and remembers ny name and knows my drinks.

Fairgrounds might not be the spot for you to his huge jackpots, but if you want a place to wind down after work, come have a couple of drinks and play the penny slots. This place has got a very friendly down home southern feel unlike the stale corporate atmosphere of SOME CASINOS.

One last thing. Anyone who says the service ain't good here needs to start tipping.

I like the way the games are wrapped in plexiglass. The workers constantly wipe and clean.
