Had the best time staying at the hotel with some girlfriends. Service and everything was great!

I called up to book the Waiting room bar for my 30th b'day for a total of $15-20 people - the person on the phone told me I had to spend a min of 2.5K within 2hours and after 2 hours our table outside will be giving away she said "obviously to someone else" I asked her how I'll host drinks and canapes for my friends that way and she said that's what they do. Money hungry venue.

Terrible service! Perhaps it was the waitperson's first day, but it was like she had never worked in hospitality before. We were just there for drinks and ordered 2 glasses of wine. The waitperson brought the 2 bottles of wine out, but no glasses. She lingered around our table holding the bottles as though we were supposed to do something to go and retrieve glasses. When she came back, she filled one of the glasses about a centimetre below the line on the glass. When we asked her to fill it to the line (the glass of wine cost us $20), she seemed very perplexed.

It was also extremely hot sitting in the sun and there were no awnings to stop the beaming sun. Our glasses of wine got very hot very quickly. It's like this place has opened a bit early without being fully ready for customers. A shame as it's beautifully decorated.

What a fantastic restaurant.
The service was flawless and the food being at the highest level as expected.

This is not the crown casino but a small hotel on the corner of Elizabeth and Goulburn St. Stayed at a motel near by so we went there for evening meals. Food and service were excellent.
