Last year's staff was amazing! Unfortunately, we can't say that this year. This place gets worse and worse every time we visit! The bartender and waitress can't get anything correct, plus the food menu changed! It seems like everything we ordered was Sam's club thrown on a grill. Owner and staff (this year) is not colored-people friendly! We were so excited, we wanted to bring our family here when they visit next week. Unfortunately, we won't be going back or recommending this place!

As a former and yes disgruntled employee of six years I have been stolen from by rick. He has altered and falsified my time cards adding breaks I never took. He is the worst and most dishonest boss I have ever worked for. There is clear discrimination and I plan to prove it.
No people skills whatsoever. If I could rate this place no stars, I would. Beware all former employees, if he did it to me he probably did it to you too. Received my unemployment finally despite rick's lies. I would be very careful having any dealings with rick and Cougar Canyon. Just so you all know the postive posts on this website are from friends of rick's I am sure he asked them to post.

Woman's bathroom needs a little TLC broken soap dispenser and sink with no water. But great service, fast no frills dining. Enjoyed it. Glad they are open. Update: Glad things got fixed- Thanks. Will be stopping in again hopefully before Christmas. You guys Rock!

The staff here are so friendly and welcoming and can make anyone feel at ease. The Bloody Mary is a must. James, Rick, Zach and Rick will do whatever they can to get you what you want! This place has an honest/real/local Montana vibe that Is hard to come by these days. Love this place. Love the people.

This place is a breath of fresh air!! It's nestled on a beautiful mountain pass and when we went inside the staff was very friendly and accommodating. I ordered walleye and it was off the charts delicious! The presentation makes you feel like you're in a big city restaurant. I'll take this any day!! The servers are so friendly and the food was hot and came to us quickly. We stayed at the lodge and the rooms were clean, fresh and new, and comfy beds!
The pool has a bucking bull pool float that is pretty impossible to conquer. Believe me we tried!! An overall great place for a little getaway!
