So I usually don't leave reviews, but in case anyone finds themselves needing a place to spend the night on the road in Montana, this is a pretty decent hotel. Heading East from Kalispell on Route 2, there aren't many places to stop and sleep. Around midnight, I was fried and we found this place literally on the way thru. Pulled into the parking lot unsure of what I'd find. The guy at the front desk was really friendly and not only had a room, but gave me a roll away and dragged it upstairs and into the room for us. Decent bed, shower, etc. It's not the Four Seasons. It's also the middle of Montana. Again, it's safer than trying to drive at night and it's clean and reasonably priced. We didn't try the restaurant, so I can't comment on that. The food smelled good though...

Had a late breakfast which was quickly served. Tasty.
Only later after receiving our food did we realize they had a dining room, but we were in the bar. That was OK as waitress was good and bar was mostly quiet.

Ate at the Wood restaurant. Part of the food was cold and the vegetables weren't cooked thoroughly. The chicken fried steak was excellent and so was the gravy. The service was excellent as well.

Great place and location for my youth basketball travel team to stay when playing in tournament on the Hi-Line, especially Wolf Point. Cottonwood Inn & Suites has friendly service, clean rooms and comfortable beds. There are some nice restaurants nearby including Eugene's Pizza. Unlike, the Homestead Inn in Wolf Point, we were never treated like intruders or outsiders. There are very few places along the Hi-Line with a large amount of rooms and Cottonwood is definitely worth a stay.
