In addition to the gambling on offer the casino is also an entertainment venue with events held in the 1,000 seat Salão Preto e Prata There is also an auditorium where concerts are held and an art gallery with permanent painting and sculpture exhibitions.
Estoril Casino is also home to what is probably the finest Chinese restaurant in all Portugal. Featuring luxurious decor and exotic dishes the Estoril Mandarim is a cut above the average Chinese eatery.

The casino is quite big, but it needs a bit of an upgrade. It looks a little run down from the outside. Enough options for gambling though. I would just prefer the machines to have English instructions as well. Very easy to lose money if you don't know what you're doing.
Easy to reach the casino from Lisbon. Just take the train from Cais do Sodre station and get off at Estoril station. The casino is visible and walking distance from the station.
