Carnival gave me an account to forward funds into for on-board credit on the 13/11/19. They advised me, I can put money on my on-board account via online banking. They provided the BSB# and the ACCOUNT#. I did a $2000 online bank transfer to carnival with all booking numbers and my name clearly stated in the reference field. When we boarded the ship in Sydney on 18/12/19 the money was missing, so I set up a credit card account, this worked OK, but $2k still missing. On the 21/12/19 the $2k was found in their sister company account. I was told that the funds would be returned, but still I'm waiting.
As of today 13/2/20 they have not released my funds. Carnival have very poor customer service, Happy to take your $$$ but not so fast when it comes to providing the service. :(
