DO NOT BOOK WITH CARNIVAL!!!! I booked a cruise for six people in May 2019. I paid $5200 to date and the cruise is in July 30, 2020. On October 15, 2019, I canceled the cruise and carnival kept $1800 of my money telling me it was non-refundable. But they were nice enough to give me a future cruise credit which they can shove up their you know what. I want my money. I was originally told when I booked there would only be a $100 per person cancellation fee if I canceled prior to 90 days before the sailing., 9 1/2 MONTHS PRIOR to sailing! As soon as I canceled everything changed and they kept $1800 of mine and never refunded it. Do not book with this cruise line because they change the rules as they go and they will keep 1/3 of your money when you cancel. They have the wrong email on file for me and they refused to change it. So I haven't received any emails confirming the booking and canceling the booking or the terms and condition. I think that's an intentional scam to screw customers over saying oh we emailed it out but the customer never received it. Just remember if you're stupid enough to book with this cruise lines and you cancel you're not getting money back, should you cancel prior to the 90 day cut off.
