We had a great time here with our kids, though the littlest ones may have limited patience after a few races. The staff were pleasant and there are plenty of food and drink options. Actually, the food prices were surprisingly very reasonable - not the huge markup I expected!

I went for cars and coffee. Very organized and well maintained. It's changed a lot in the last 3 years since I've been to the actual park. Looks very nice and clean from the outside.

So much fun! The races are great and I love the different craft fairs. A really great way to get together with friends that doesn't cost a ton of dough...unless you pick the wrong horse :)

Had a great time at Canterbury Park!
Plenty of places to watch the live races either outside or inside or you can watch on the screens. Lots of food to choose from and drinks. Wasn't too crowded on a Sunday in June. Family friendly so great for young and old! Last photo is the showing area where you can see the horses before they race.

Reconsider going to Canterbury this summer. Inadequate resources to serve all the customers. You will have to wait 45+ minutes to do anything...bet, get food, get a drink. Prepare to wait, they are allowing too many people in for how little is open. Consider a week day or waiting until next year. Happy they are open, hope they can get things worked out.
