A local guy that we met at a rest stop recommended Borrie's as a local restaurant that supports local ranchers and farmers. We ordered full tenderloins done medium rare, because it was only $5 more for that extra 4 oz AND we have a kitchen tomorrow night. We ordered the bleu cheese dressing on our salads both as our favorite dressing and on a reviewer's recommendation. We ordered the chicken broth and minestrone. The chicken broth had rotini and the minestrone was thicker than we were used to, which was lovely. The tenderloins passed our butter knife test, meaning that a really tender steak can be cut with a butter knife instead of needing a steak knife. I ordered the spaghetti as my side and my hubby ordered fries as his side. The spaghetti sauce was more like what I'd make at home ... the waitress said that many folks love it and a few hate it. The fries were thin and crispy. The mushrooms were mushrooms ... and I only asked about it, because a reviewer had panned the spaghetti and mushrooms. We finished the meal off with a large helping of tiramisu, which was tasty.
The restaurant had a Pokemon Go pokestop and pokegym within easy reach of the restaurant.
